Alla mainitun työn lisäksi kuvasin tiistaina 8.5.2007 taimistoni muitten kasvien hyvin alkanutta kasvua. Yllä on tämä kuvasarja, joka kuvaa hyvin kasvukauden tilannetta. Toukokuun alkupuolella on ollut sen verran viileää, että kasvun ennätyksellinen etumatka tavanomaiseen on hiipunut lähes pois ja tällä hetkellä kasvukausi on korkeintaan n. viikon edellä tavanomaisesta aikataulusta. Tällä viikolla kasvu kuitenkin jatkuu lähes normaaliin tapaan, kun päivälämpötilat ovat lähellä +15 astetta ja yölämpötilat 0 ja +5 asteen välillä. Ensi viikon alussa etelästä saattaa tulla lämmintä ilmaa, mutta samalla lännestä Suomeen saapuva matalapaine estää sen saapumisen... Joka tapauksessa kosteusolosuhteet pysyvät viljelyn kannalta hyvinä tiedossa olevien sateiden ansiosta.



In addition to the work mentioned underneath i photographed the well started growth of my nursery's other plants in tuesday the 8th of May 2007. There is above this set of photos, which is illustrating well the phase of the growing season. During the first part of May there have been such a cool weather conditions, that the growth's record breaking lead to the average has allmost been faded away and at this moment the growing season is about one week ahead of an average schedule at the most. However during this week the growing continues allmost in a normal way, as the daytime temperatures are near +15 C and the night temperatures between 0 C and +5 C. At the beginning of the next week there might come warm air from the south, but at the same time a low pressure arriving from the west into Finland will prevent its arriving... In any case thanks to the foreseen precipitation the moisture conditions will remain good from the point of view of cultivation.
