Tässä vaiheessa tarjoan kokonaisiksi päivitetyt blogitrilogian Flickr -kuvasarjat päättyneeltä elokuulta; blogi 1, blogi 2 ja blogi 3.
Tässä on myös Helsingin Puistolan säätilasto päättyneeltä elokuulta. Siitä voidaan havaita hyvin mm. kuun alkupuolen helleaalto, ukkosista tulleet suuret sademäärät ja kuun lopun huomattavan kylmä jakso.
Nyt syyskuun puolella ilmamassa on sen verran lämmennyt, että vuorokauden keskilämpötilat ovat kohonneet Etelä-Suomessa +10 asteen yläpuolelle. Siten syksy ei ehtinyt alkamaan määritelmän mukaan (keskilämpötilat vähintään 5 vuorokautta peräkkäin alle +10 astetta), vaikka näin uhkasi käydä huomattavasti etuajassa. Hallaa kuitenkin esiintyi paikoin, mutta en ole vielä käynyt tarkistamassa taimistoni tilannetta tässä asiassa...

Here is also the weather chart of Puistola district in Helsinki from the ended August. From that one can easily observe for example the heatwave of the early part of the month, the big amounts of precipitation brought by the thunderstorms and the significantly cold spell of the month's end.
Now in September the air mass has warmed up in such a way, that the daily average temperatures have gone over +10 C in southern Finland. Therefore autumn didn't had time to start according to the definition (the average temperatures at least 5 days in a row under +10 C), allthough it threatened to happen in that way significantly ahead of schedule. However ground frost appeared locally, but i haven't visited yet my nursery to check out the situation in this matter...
