Tällä hetkellä ruska alkaa olla huipussaan Lapissa. Etelä-Suomessa sen sijaan syysvärejä on vasta paikoitellen (paitsi viime maanantaina mainitsemani koivut (Betula sp.) ) ja kesävihreys vallitsee etenkin ulkomaisilla lajeilla. Ruskan etenemistä voidaan seurata hyvin Tiehallinnon kelikameroista ikään kuin sivutuotteena. Mainitsin jo elokuussa tästä sivustosta myös vuodenaikojen seurantaan erinomaisesti soveltuvana; mm. erot Suomen eri osien välillä. Sivustolla olevista kartoista pääsee klikkaamaan satoja eri kohteita, mutta kaikissa ei näy kunnolla teiden ja katujen vieressä olevaa luontoa tai puistoja. Monissa kohteissa näkymät ovat kuitenkin hienot ja yksittäisissä jopa erinomaiset. Laitan tämän linkin myös kaikkien blogieni sivupalkkeihin.
At this moment fall colours are starting to be at their peak in Lapland. As opposed to that fall colours appear only locally (not counted for the birches (Betula sp.) I mentioned last monday) in southern Finland and a summer foliage prevails especially on foreign species. The proceeding of the fall colours can be observed well from the weather cameras of the Finnish Road Administrator in the way of a by-product. I mentioned allready in August about this site to be suitable for the observing of the seasons in an excellent way; differences between various parts of Finland amongst others. One can browse hundreds of locations from the maps on the site, but all doesn't show properly nature or parks beside the roads and the streets. However views on many locations are fine and on single places even excellent. I will put this link also to the sidebars of my every blog.
