Kun joulunajan kaikki pyhät on nyt kulutettu loppuun eilisen Loppiaisenkin myötä, niin tässä alkavalle normaalille keskitalven arjelle ajattelemisen aiheeksi listaan vuodenvaihteessa muutamassa tunnetuimmassa vaihtoehtomediassa esille tulleita koosteita, pohdintoja ja trendiennustuksia molempiin ko. vuosiin liittyen >> Mistä olemme tulossa ja minne olemme menossa täällä länsimaissa?!...
Ko. listauksessa eri medioiden kesken on paljon samoja asioita yhteisenä ymmärryksenä ja missiona, mutta myös kokonaiskuvaa valo-varjomaisen vaihtelevasti eri näkökantojen avulla laajentaen - syventäen.
Tämä saa nyt jäädä tällä viikolla 2 ainoaksi yhteiskunnallispoliittiseksi julkaisuksi blogissani, mutta palaan asiaan taas aikanaan mm. aikaisemmin lupaamieni vuoden 2013 Facebook-yhteenvetojeni osalta, kunhan vain ehdin niitä koostamaan; materiaalia on hyvin paljon ja niistä on moneksi...

Lopuksi haluan mainostaa viime marraskuussa David Icken lanseeraamaa uutta vaihtoehtomediaa, joka sai nimeksi The People's Voice.
En ole vielä ehtinyt tutustumaan kovin hyvin sen antiin, mutta se on ilmeisesti alkanut menestymään oikein hienosti :) David Icke on todellakin taustaltaan myös ihan ehta journalistikin, kun hän toimi 80-luvulla BBC:llä suosittuna urheilutoimittajana. Ilmeisesti niiltäkin ajoilta hänellä on mediakokemuksen lisäksi myös suhteita, minkä kautta hän on onnistunut haalimaan tähän uuteen mediaan osaavia ja valtamediaan kyllästyneitä toimittajia, kuten Sonia Poultonin.
Joka tapauksessa tässä näyttää olevan yksi hyvinkin merkittävä lisä vaihtoehtomedioiden kasvavan suosion sarkaan ja vuoden 2014 toivottavasti yhä etenevän valveutumisen ja humaanien sisältöjen palauttamisen - edistämisen prosessiin!...
